Fans of Fermata Xtream have experienced significant changes recently. The developer initially announced the app’s discontinuation but later revamped the entire code, reviving the Xtream Player. Following an update that introduced dashboard games, another round of updates has been announced, highlighting various new features, including a visualization tool.

Version 1.6.0 of the app was revealed on Reddit, showcasing its new visualization feature. This addition mirrors the iconic visualization styles popularized by Winamp on computers. Users can select from nine different styles, and this feature is accessible to both free and premium users.

The update also introduces other functionalities: users can now stream videos from their phones to their vehicles, although this feature is still experimental and may experience some glitches.

In addition, the app will hide on-screen controls after a few moments, enhancing the immersive experience for YouTube users, and the quality selection now aligns with YouTube’s offerings.

With the latest version, playback can now automatically resume after phone calls without losing the connection to the car’s audio system, and captions will default to being turned off.

These features are part of both the free and premium versions of Xtream Player. Premium users, however, enjoy additional upgrades, such as the app remembering the last visualization style used. It also supports official MilkDrop and libprojectM visualizers, providing even more visual options for premium subscribers.
