With International Dog Day approaching, many households are becoming busy with the onset of a new school year. To aid pet owners during this hectic period, Life360 is launching new features focused on shared pet care.
According to the company’s announcement, their updated Care and Connection tools are being rolled out, introducing Shared Care logs. This feature enables families to establish ongoing routines for walks, feedings, medications, and cleaning up after pets. All completed tasks can be monitored by everyone involved in the pet’s care, helping ensure that responsibilities are met and possibly averting situations where your dog manages to convince another family member that it hasn’t been fed.
Additionally, the update features Weekly Roundups, which summarize data such as distance walked and who has contributed the most to the pet’s care, aiding in settling any potential disputes. Also included are Zoomies Alerts, designed to log when a dog experiences bursts of energy, often resulting in the furniture being rearranged.
Alongside these new capabilities, Life360 is debuting a $7.99 stainless-steel Pet Tag equipped with a QR code. If someone discovers a lost pet, they can scan the tag to either call or text the pet’s owner, or to share the pet’s location without needing to have the Life360 app.
Moreover, Life360 is making its Pet GPS tracker available at a more affordable subscription rate. A new $99 Silver Bundle includes both the tracker and a Silver subscription, making previously available features accessible without needing a Gold or Platinum membership.
The latest care features are accessible globally, while the Pet Tag and Pet GPS tracker can be found in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
