Introducing Xreal’s Latest One Pro+ AR Glasses: Enhanced Brightness and Superior Comfort Redefined!

No camera features ensure they won’t raise any eyebrows.
Xreal has unveiled an upgraded version of its popular One Pro AR glasses, dubbed the One Pro+. While the changes are subtle, they bring significant enhancements for users.
The standout feature of the One Pro+ is its impressive brightness, achieving a peak of 1,200 nits compared to the 700 nits of its predecessor. Additionally, the new model incorporates AI HDR upscaling technology to enhance visual quality. The 2D-to-3D conversion algorithm has also been upgraded, increasing its capacity from 30Hz to 60Hz. This improvement helps lend depth to 2D content, akin to the spatial imaging found in the Apple Vision Pro.
Another notable improvement is the redesigned nose pad aimed at enhancing long-term comfort. Xreal asserts that this adjustment will provide better stability without compromising the field of view. This feature is particularly noteworthy since the comfort level can heavily influence the usability of AR glasses, especially over extended periods.
Beyond these updates, the core features remain consistent with the original One Pro. It still houses the X1 spatial computing chip and retains a 57-degree field of view, which is a positive aspect since the original version received favorable reviews for productivity applications and screen mirroring capabilities. Users found them more engaging compared to what Meta offers.
One thing to note is that, like its predecessor, the Xreal One Pro+ lacks a camera, alleviating concerns about privacy and making them less likely to be seen as intrusive. Priced at $600, the new model is available immediately, matching the price point of last year’s One Pro.
