Observing my coworkers discuss Android Auto often fills me with a sense of envy, as my vehicle lacks compatibility with the feature. I’ve never had the chance to use it myself; my only experience has been as a passenger in cars that boast more modern technology than mine.
This has resulted in my smartphone being the sole interface available in my vehicle, which can be less than ideal. However, by incorporating a $20 device into my setup, I was able to enhance my driving experience considerably, alleviating much of my feeling of missing out.
