Lenovo Smart Clock Essential Users Experience Weather Display Issues
Owners of the Lenovo Smart Clock Essential are facing a troubling problem: the weather icon and outdoor temperatures have vanished from their devices’ displays. While voice forecasts continue to function normally, attempts to resolve the issue through factory resets and reboots have yielded mixed results.
This issue has been reported by users across various countries, yet the underlying cause remains unclear. For years, Lenovo’s bedside clocks have reliably served their purpose by waking users, answering queries, managing smart-home gadgets, and providing quick weather updates. Despite some recent transitions within Google’s services, the utility of these devices has generally remained intact.
Earlier this year, however, standard Smart Clock users lost access to certain touchscreen controls for their smart lighting, and now, the Essential model is experiencing its own setbacks regarding the weather display.
