Top-Rated Alternative to the Pixel 11 Revealed in Recent Reader Survey

The Google Pixel 11 marks the introduction of the company’s latest flagship lineup, positioning itself as a leading choice for those looking to join the premium Android market. However, it’s not the only option available. If you’re contemplating the Pixel 11, what other smartphones should you consider?

In collaboration with my colleague Brady Snyder, we identified five notable alternatives, and we encouraged our readers to select their preferred option from this list. With more than 4,200 votes cast, the results were quite revealing, with a close competition for the top choice.

Unsurprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy S26 emerged as the preferred alternative to the Pixel 11, garnering 25.8% of the total votes with over 1,100 endorsements. Samsung’s latest affordable flagship is viewed as the most direct competition to the Pixel 11, offering an advanced Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy SoC, a lighter build, and an overall enhanced software experience.

But the Galaxy S26 faced stiff competition from a surprising contender. The Motorola Edge (2026), which has gained considerable traction since its release, claimed second place, just 54 votes behind Samsung’s offering.

The Edge stands out in various categories, including quicker wired charging, a more attractive price point, and an appealing design, particularly for those who favor textured finishes. Unfortunately, its limited software support and less powerful hardware diminish its appeal. Nonetheless, it remained the only other phone that closely challenged the Galaxy in our poll.

In third place was the Google Pixel 11 Pro, attracting 18.5% of votes. Given its significant price increase compared to the Pixel 11, it’s noteworthy that over 700 readers considered the Pro a feasible option. While it offers impressive features on paper, the cost is substantially higher.

The Google Pixel 10a ranked fourth with 16.4% of the vote, while the foldable Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 was last with only 5.3%. Interestingly, the Samsung device received fewer votes than the “Something else” option, which collected just under 400 votes.

Other alternatives suggested by readers included the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, Motorola Signature, OnePlus 13, and OnePlus 15.
