Mirroring the functionality of the Outdoor Camera Plug-In, the Floodlight version seamlessly integrates with Google Home and Gemini. Users subscribed to the Google Home Premium Advanced plan can utilize features like customized alerts based on visual events and the ability to inquire about video history in a conversational manner.
While a direct comparison of user experiences between the two models has yet to be established, the Onn Floodlight Camera shares prominent features and extensive Google Home integration with the Nest Cam. This makes it an attractive option compared to the Nest Cam with floodlight, which offers a similar 1080p resolution and a comparable 130-degree field of view but starts at $279.99. Although currently discounted by $100, the Nest Cam’s price is still $100 higher than that of the Onn model.
The Onn Outdoor Floodlight Camera Hardwired is now available for purchase at Walmart locations as well as on Walmart’s website.
