Inscryption Makes Its Mobile Debut After Five-Year Wait

There’s truly no way out now.
The developers of the popular horror card game Inscryption announced some thrilling news over the weekend, coinciding with the game’s fifth anniversary: a mobile adaptation is in the pipeline. This revelation was made during an official Twitch stream featuring Daniel Mullins, the game’s creator. Although it will take some time before it arrives on app stores, players will soon have the opportunity to take Inscryption and its unique characters wherever they go.
If you were looking forward to new downloadable content with this announcement, there’s some disappointing news. Daniel Mullins Games has stated that there are currently no plans for additional content updates. In a Reddit post, the team conveyed that they believe Inscryption offers a complete experience in both story and gameplay. They emphasized their desire not to introduce new content merely for the sake of expansion or profit. Protecting the atmosphere, identity, and essence of what made Inscryption special is of great importance to them.
Further details regarding Inscryption‘s mobile version are expected in the upcoming months. For now, the team is concentrated on finalizing Pony Island 2. It has been confirmed that the eagerly awaited sequel to 2016’s Pony Island will be available on Steam starting April 27, 2027.
