It’s already accessible on the Galaxy S26 series, and recent findings point towards its forthcoming arrival on vivo smartphones. Now, there are further indications that Xiaomi may be next in line to incorporate this feature.

Upon examining the most recent public beta version of the Google Phone app (v237.0.973536915), evidence was discovered indicating that Scam Detection may soon be available for Xiaomi phones. The brand has been added to the growing list of manufacturers that support this feature.
It remains uncertain which specific Xiaomi models will initially support this feature. The recently launched Xiaomi 18 Fold, introduced during IFA 2026, appears to be a strong candidate. However, as this device is currently limited to the Chinese market, it’s likely that the Scam Detection feature will first appear on a globally available Xiaomi flagship model.
Google’s Scam Detection feature utilizes on-device artificial intelligence to analyze phone calls and potentially alert users of suspicious calls.
