Amazon Joins Forces with Uber Eats to Enhance Prime Membership Benefits

Place orders through Amazon’s platforms and occasionally bypass delivery charges.
Amazon has added a new benefit to its Prime subscription service, enhancing the array of perks available to members. Customers can now order from Uber Eats directly through the Amazon.com platform and the Amazon Shopping app in the United States. This collaboration aims to provide Uber Eats delivery with no fees for Prime members on qualifying orders of $25 or more placed via Amazon. Additionally, Prime members will have access to exclusive offers available solely on the Amazon platform. There’s no need for a separate Uber account to manage these delivery orders, with support for nearly 10,000 locations across the U.S.
According to Amazon’s announcement, using the Uber Eats feature could potentially save Prime members up to $175 annually, although this figure may vary based on personal usage of the delivery service.
In 2022, Amazon had previously offered a complimentary year of GrubHub+ with its Prime subscription. This program, which also provides free delivery and other benefits linked to GrubHub orders, became a permanent feature for Prime members in 2024.
