CEO Reveals Enigmatic AI-Driven Gadget Set for Release Next Month

Nothing, the innovative smartphone company behind the unique Nothing Phone, is developing an AI-related product, though details remain vague.

On Wednesday, CEO Carl Pei revealed on social media that the company’s inaugural “AI-native product” is scheduled for release in December. He described it as “a tool, but one crafted with the personality and attention that characterize a Nothing product. It doesn’t feature a new screen, nor could it be categorized as an app,” Pei stated.

Pei has hinted at an AI-centric device for quite some time. The company has also announced plans to introduce a pair of AI-enabled smart glasses alongside earbuds equipped with AI functionalities.

Pei’s comments suggest the existence of a screenless tool that leverages AI. He further categorizes it as a “productivity tool,” while hinting that it is separate from AI wearable technology.

“The entire industry is in search of its groundbreaking moment: the pendant, the pin, the glasses, the companion, something that seamlessly integrates AI into everyday life,” Pei noted. “I appreciate the ambition, but I interpret this moment differently.”

While a specific launch date has yet to be confirmed, fans of Nothing can expect to learn more about the upcoming product shortly.
