As the weekend approaches, many are looking forward to some leisure time. Whether you’re planning a cozy night with your favorite shows or an active outdoor adventure, there’s great news if you’re leaning towards fitness. Google Health has just announced its latest upgrade.

The rollout of Google Health 5.09 is now occurring for both iOS and Android. The main highlight of this update includes the previously discussed Pixel Watch Health Guardian features. For users of the Pixel Watch 3, 4, and 5, the new tools will enable tracking of blood pressure, monitoring insulin resistance trends, and providing enhanced sleep quality data.

Interestingly, you don’t need a Pixel Watch to benefit from this update. Users of Garmin and Apple Watch can also look forward to new functionalities, including workout synchronization that will factor into your Cardio Load as long as your device tracks heart rate.

Moreover, the app will introduce new ways to log various activities under the Fitness section and resolve an issue where historic step streaks were not displayed accurately.

Lastly, if you’re using the Health feature to manage your diet, improvements will be made to how you record serving sizes and meal timings for custom food entries, along with fixing bugs on the iOS platform.

Expect to see Google Health 5.09 available on your device shortly.
