Cricut, known for its diverse range of cutting, embossing, and heat pressing machines for home crafters, is focusing on the sticker-making market with its new offerings. The Cricut StickerPix Print and StickerPix Print + Cut simplify the process of creating custom stickers; the latter model uniquely integrates cutting technology with printing capabilities.

The Cricut StickerPix Print is the compact option, measuring 7.8 x 5 x 3.5 inches, allowing for printing on 4 x 6-inch photo paper or pre-cut sticker sheets available from Cricut. In contrast, the StickerPix Print + Cut is a larger model at 8 x 11.3 x 4.1 inches, which accommodates 4 x 7-inch sticker sheets and 4 x 6-inch photo paper. Its cutting feature provides flexibility beyond the standard shapes of Cricut’s pre-cut sheets.

Both models utilize dye-sublimation technology to print stickers and photos, which involves applying heat to transfer dye directly onto the material. A laminate layer is then added, enhancing durability against water, scratches, and fading. Unlike other Cricut products that depend on an inkjet printer and specialty laminate sheets for similar outcomes, the StickerPix machines are more compact and efficient for users focused solely on printing.

It’s important to note that these machines produce kiss-cut stickers, which remain attached to a single sheet, as opposed to die-cut stickers that are fully separated from their backing. As is standard with Cricut devices, users will need to access Cricut Design Space software on their devices for operation. This often entails a subscription to Cricut Access, which offers additional templates and discounts.

Currently, the Cricut StickerPix Print is priced at $169 and the Print + Cut at $299. Each device includes sticker sheets, photo paper, and an ink cartridge in the package.
