Creepshow Video Game Set to Launch This Summer!

A video game adaptation of the horror anthology series is set to launch in August.

The Creepshow video game has been confirmed for release. Although there has been little news regarding the adaptation of Shudder’s horror anthology series since its initial announcement years ago, its Steam page recently revealed a release date set for August 2026. This point-and-click adventure, developed by PHL Collective and published by DreadXP, creators of The Mortuary Assistant, promises an exciting experience filled with surprises.

In the game, players will join Danny and his friends as their seemingly mundane day at the mall descends into chaos. Their quest to uncover the truth about Danny’s father brings them face to face with a mysterious fortune-teller known as The Reader, who has a penchant for dangerous stories.

Originating from the 1980s anthology films, Creepshow has always fused horror with a hint of humor, and the game appears to maintain this duality. It promises stylized visuals inspired by pulp fiction, dark humor, comic book-style settings, horror-themed mini-games, and unexpected endings. Currently, the game seems exclusive to PC with no details on console availability yet.
