Unveiling the First Glimpse of Apple TV’s Neuromancer Reimagining

The release date has been confirmed: January 22, 2027.
The upcoming Apple TV series adaptation of William Gibson’s influential 1984 cyberpunk novel, Neuromancer, is set to premiere on January 22 of next year. The announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con, along with the first official teaser. The series features a talented cast, including Callum Turner, Briana Middleton, Mark Strong, Joseph Lee, Peter Sarsgaard, and Clémence Poésy.
According to Apple, Neuromancer follows Case (played by Turner), a troubled super-hacker who gets entangled in digital espionage and dangerous crime alongside his partner, Molly (Middleton), a lethal assassin. Together, they plan a high-stakes heist against a powerful corporation harboring dark secrets. The show will consist of ten episodes, launching with the first two on January 22, followed by weekly episodes until March 19. Given Apple’s recent success with sci-fi programming, there is hope for a continued upward trend.
It’s encouraging to see that Gibson, who serves as an executive producer for the series, has expressed satisfaction with the production. He shared his enthusiasm for the teaser on social media, stating, “Anyone who doesn’t grasp my satisfaction throughout this process doesn’t understand what I seek from an adaptation.”
