A new computing platform is on the horizon, making its debut shortly. Google unveiled the Googlebook concept in May, and after a summer filled with hardware revelations, the product line is finally close to being unveiled, with pre-orders kicking off next Monday, September 21. Before the announcement, we have a fresh leak showcasing ASUS’s hardware that offers comprehensive details.
The first wave of Googlebooks will include devices from major brands like Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. We’ve already seen multiple leaks revealing ASUS’s model, and now, as pre-orders approach, exciting new images are emerging that showcase what we can anticipate.
Some of the newly released renders resemble previous ones and could easily pass off as any standard laptop. We can spot several ports on the side; however, the standout feature appears to be the colorful glow bar on the lid.
This new set of images also includes unique perspectives, including an X-ray view and an outline of the pre-assembled chassis:
While these images don’t reveal much about the Googlebook features, they certainly provide a refreshing take compared to the usual laptop leaks.
