OpenAI Expands Its Horizons with the Acquisition of NextSlide, a Presentation Innovator
NextSlide has officially joined forces with OpenAI, with its team now collaborating on ChatGPT.
On its website, founder Ahmed Beshry describes the startup’s tool as one capable of transforming prompts, notes, documents, or research into a refined and editable presentation.
Beshry emphasized that the primary objective is to enhance visual communication and empower individuals to convey their ideas more effectively. By becoming part of OpenAI, the team aims to continue its mission of developing AI solutions that facilitate creation and communication, ultimately leading to impactful work.
The financial details surrounding the acquisition have not been revealed. Beshry mentioned on LinkedIn that the announcement was delayed, as the acquisition occurred earlier this year.
Previously, Beshry co-founded Caper AI, a cashier-less checkout startup that was acquired by Instacart in 2021.
