Mark Your Calendars: Google’s Pixel Event Scheduled for August 12

Google is set to host its Made by Google event on August 12 in New York City, as revealed in a recent announcement.
Expectations are high that this year’s event will be more enjoyable compared to last year’s, which featured notable personalities such as Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Curry, and the Jonas Brothers, but received mixed reactions from attendees.
There are many speculations surrounding the upcoming Pixel 11 series. Invitations sent out to the press hint at various design enhancements, including an appealing new gold color option for the Pixel 11.

Additional leaks indicate that the standard Pixel 11 might sport narrower bezels and an elegantly designed black camera bar, while the Pixel 11 Pro is rumored to have a slimmer profile than its predecessor. Furthermore, there is talk of the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, which could feature a revamped camera bump and a lighter build compared to the earlier version.
However, one concerning report suggests that Google may eliminate the 128GB storage option, only offering a minimum of 256GB instead, which could result in increased pricing for consumers.
Last year, on August 20, Google unveiled the Pixel 10 series alongside various AI enhancements and other products, including the new foldable device, the Pixel Watch 4, and the second iteration of its budget A-Series earbuds.
