Lovable Engaged in Discussions to Potentially Boost Valuation to $13.2 Billion

Lovable, a startup based in Sweden focused on vibe-coding, is negotiating to secure $300 million in funding, which would elevate its valuation to $13.2 billion—exactly double the $6.6 billion figure it reached in December last year, as reported by Sifted. Menlo Ventures is anticipated to spearhead this fundraising effort, having just announced its latest $3 billion investment fund.

Since its inception just under three years ago, Lovable has achieved an impressive annual revenue run rate of $500 million as of June.

The company’s clientele includes founders, independent designers, and sales professionals working on websites and e-commerce platforms. Moreover, Lovable provides its vibe-coding solutions to major corporations such as Workday, Asana, and Nvidia.

Vibe coding, which enables users to create software simply by articulating their ideas, represents one of the most sought-after and profitable applications of AI technology. Other notable startups in the vibe-coding space include Replit, which reached a $9 billion valuation in March, and Factory, which secured $150 million in funding at a valuation of $1.5 billion in April for helping businesses develop AI agents. Additionally, the developer-focused vibe coding platform Cursor was recently acquired by SpaceX for a staggering $60 billion.
