Isaac’s Repentance+ Online Launch Battles it Out with GTA 6 on November 19

Nothing else happening that day, right?
Many game developers are adjusting their launch schedules to steer clear of the massive impact expected from the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 this fall. Therefore, it comes as a surprise that Edmund McMillen’s The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online is set to launch on November 19, the very same date as GTA 6. But honestly? That’s worth respecting.
This new chapter introduces an online multiplayer option to The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, supporting cooperative gameplay for up to four players. It encompasses the entire roguelike experience along with all of its numerous expansions released over the years. Players will be able to enjoy Repentance+ Online on platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Since early 2024, it has been available as a beta version on PC, although feedback has been mixed, with some users reporting performance issues and bugs.
This year has been eventful for McMillen, who also launched a new roguelike title, Mewgenics, in February that is separate from the Isaac series.
