Is Your Pixel Experiencing Issues with Android 17 QPR1?

This week, Android 17 QPR1 has started rolling out to Pixel devices as part of the September update. While this new version brings several minor enhancements, it hasn’t been entirely smooth for all users. Typically, following significant updates, there tends to be an increase in users experiencing bugs and unexpected issues on their devices, and this time appears to be no exception.

Have you encountered any issues with your Pixel after updating to Android 17 QPR1?

It’s challenging to gauge the extent of technical issues reported online. A few complaints can seem significant (and for those affected, they certainly are), but given the millions of Pixel phones in use, it’s feasible that those encountering problems following the installation of Android 17 QPR1 are a small segment of the overall user base.

Reported complications range widely and could stem from various sources, not necessarily tied directly to Android 17 QPR1. Personally, I haven’t experienced any issues with my Pixel 9 Pro post-update, which could just be a matter of luck.

Have you faced challenges with Android 17 QPR1? Did the update exacerbate any existing issues? Alternatively, did you find that the update resolved problems you had before? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section.
