Introducing the OpenClaw App: Now Available for iOS and Android Devices!

Smartphones embrace the rise of AI technology.

OpenClaw has officially launched dedicated applications for both iOS and Android platforms, marking a significant step in introducing AI agents to mainstream app stores. This allows users to engage with the AI assistant directly from their smartphones, granting it permissions to access various device features like the camera, screen, location, photos, contacts, calendar, and reminders.

The organization transitioned from a minor player in AI to a notable entity within the industry after the founder, Peter Steinberger, joined OpenAI earlier this year. The applications are managed by the OpenClaw Foundation, which has reportedly received undisclosed support from OpenAI.

The concept of agentic AI has stirred considerable debate among Apple users, as the company’s app review process is known for its strictness. Previously, Apple had barred many agentic applications due to heightened security concerns. Consequently, iOS users relied on messaging platforms like Telegram or WhatsApp to interact with their AI assistants.
