Introducing the Kodak EC35: A Compact and User-Friendly 35mm Film Camera for Newbies

The affordable $35 camera is offered in a variety of seven vibrant colors and features a protective slide cover.

Reto, known for producing Charmera products, has unveiled a new Kodak camera, the Kodak EC35. This charming point-and-shoot film camera is designed to be budget-friendly, priced at just $35. The EC35 is designed for ease of use and simplicity, featuring a 25mm lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and a shutter speed set at 1/100 seconds. Additionally, it includes a built-in flash that operates on a single AA battery. Its practical slide cover not only protects the lens but also acts as a shutter lock, allowing users to easily carry it in a bag or pocket without the fear of unintended photos.

The Kodak EC35 is positioned as a user-friendly option for those new to film photography, offering a more accessible alternative compared to Reto’s previous cameras such as the $100 Kodak Snapic A1 and the $50 EKTAR H35 half-frame model released a few years back. The camera comes in a selection of seven appealing colors: Midnight Black, Vanilla White, Butter Yellow, Lavender, Powder Blue, Blush Pink, and Avocado. Customers can purchase the Kodak EC35 on its own or opt for a package that includes a roll of Kodak Ultramax 400 film for an additional $10.
