Google Broadens Availability of Its Gemini Spark Autonomous AI Assistant

Access to Google AI’s Spark is expanding for more Pro and Ultra users.

Google has announced that its agentic AI assistant, Gemini Spark, will now be accessible to a larger number of users. However, this expansion does not extend to free-tier users. In the United States, those subscribed to Google AI Pro for $20 monthly can start using Spark, while Google AI Ultra subscribers, who pay between $100 and $200 monthly, will have access globally, except for users located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, the UK, and Nigeria. New users should verify if their local language options are supported.

Gemini Spark operates on the Gemini 3.5 system and integrates closely with Google’s Workspace applications. Users can assign tasks by visiting the Spark page via the sidebar on a computer or selecting it from the menu on mobile devices. They can instruct Spark to perform tasks such as checking emails and calendar agendas each morning and prioritizing their schedules. Additionally, Spark can generate draft responses for emails from specific contacts or summarize long email conversations. Users can also employ Spark to create comprehensive reports in Google Docs from meeting notes and emails, among other possibilities. For further details, users may refer to Google’s support resources.
