Apple Unveils September 9 as the Date for ‘Reveal and Radiate’ iPhone Showcase

Could a Foldable iPhone be on the Horizon?

Apple has officially announced the date for its upcoming iPhone reveal event, set for September 9. Viewers can tune in to a livestream on Apple’s website and YouTube starting at 1 PM ET. As always, we will provide live updates with all the latest news.

This fall’s event is particularly exciting due to rumors surrounding a foldable iPhone model. Speculation indicates that this device, possibly named the iPhone Ultra, is being developed with features reflected in the iOS 27 code. It’s expected to transition from a compact device to a tablet-like format, similar to the iPad Mini.

Apple might further expand its iPhone 18 lineup this year, including the anticipated iPhone Ultra alongside the iPhone 18 Pro variants. However, consumers might have to wait until spring 2027 for additional models, such as the iPhone Air 2, iPhone 18e, and a basic version of the iPhone 18.

A prominent theme at the event will likely be Apple’s integration of artificial intelligence across its products. The format of the recent WWDC keynote hinted at this strategic approach, as Apple shared its vision for a cohesive ecosystem focused on an updated Siri, referred to as Siri AI, and broader Apple Intelligence.

There are reports suggesting that new products will complement this Siri AI ecosystem, including updated iPads, a new HomePod mini, and an Apple TV box, as well as a smart display for home automation. Nonetheless, the primary focus of the event is expected to remain on the new iPhone models.

Another noteworthy aspect of this event is that it will mark the debut of John Ternus as the new CEO of Apple, succeeding Tim Cook starting September 1.
