Summary

  • TCL has teamed up with Barnes & Noble for a co-branded NXTPAPER tablet.
  • This device includes an 11-inch display and comes pre-installed with the NOOK app.
  • It will be available starting November 19, 2026, priced at $249.99.

In September, TCL introduced the Tab A1 NXTPAPER in the United States. Now, they are collaborating with Barnes & Noble to release a co-branded edition of the tablet. The new model is set to mirror the original launch price of $249.99, despite the original version currently priced at $229.98 on TCL’s official website.

This co-branded TCL Tab A1 NXTPAPER boasts an anti-glare 11-inch screen, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, which is expandable up to 2TB via a microSD card. Additionally, it includes an 8000mAh battery, a 5MP front camera, an 8MP rear camera, a MediaTek Helio G100 processor, IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.0, Android 16, and quad stereo speakers. These specifications are consistent with those of the original model.

However, unlike its predecessor, this version comes with the Barnes & Noble NOOK app already installed. This app provides access to a vast collection of audiobooks, comics, novels, graphic novels, magazines, and newspapers. This addition sets it apart from the standard version.

The TCL and Barnes & Noble co-branded Tab A1 NXTPAPER can now be pre-ordered on the bookstore’s website, with its official launch set for November 19.
