Lyft Launches Innovative Subscription Packages in Partnership with DoorDash’s DashPass for Just $10 a Month

DashPass subscribers can access Lyft Go without any additional fees.
Lyft has introduced a new subscription service called Lyft Go, which replaces its previous Lyft Pink plan and includes a partnership with DoorDash’s DashPass. This service is priced at $10 per month, with an annual option available at $96, which is $3 less than the former Lyft Pink. Current DashPass subscribers can link their accounts to access Lyft Go at no additional cost.
Lyft Go members benefit from the DashPass, offering discounts and reduced fees on DoorDash orders, and also receive an eight percent credit from rides, capped at $40 per month. These credits can be used for both future rides and DoorDash purchases.
The plan provides members with three grace periods for cancellations each month. If a ride is canceled and rebooked within 15 minutes, the cancellation fee will be refunded as credits. Furthermore, lost item return fees will be waived for Lyft Go subscribers, and Lyft will also match charitable donations made through its Round Up & Donate feature.
An alternative option, Lyft Go Core, is available for $5 per month and does not include DashPass. This tier offers a five percent credit on rides, with a cap of $20 per month, and also includes donation matching and relaxed cancellation policies.
Lyft and DoorDash are broadening their collaboration, allowing users to search for DoorDash restaurants directly within the Lyft app and place orders that will be on their way to a specified location by the time they arrive.
Lyft Go is currently available across the United States, with a free one-month trial for new users. Existing Lyft Pink members will be transitioned to the new service at the same cost. The premium Lyft Pink All Access plan remains available, although it is no longer accepting new signups.
In comparison, Uber offers its subscription service for the same price of $10 per month, which provides users with promotional benefits and reduced fees, along with five percent back on rides and 10 percent on car rentals. Uber Eats, which has recently partnered with Amazon to provide discounts for Prime subscribers, is also included in this service.
