Essential AI Wearables and Gadgets You Won’t Want to Miss

A variety of AI-enabled devices is now available, looking to seamlessly incorporate artificial intelligence into everyday life.

These AI wearables range from necklaces and rings to wristbands and portable gadgets. While some act as productivity enhancers, others function as friendly companions, attentively listening to your daily thoughts. OpenAI is also developing a compact AI companion device.

Here’s a look at some noteworthy options on the market.

Bee

Bee, priced at $49.99, is an economical pendant that can be clipped onto clothing or worn like a fitness tracker. This device captures audio, learns your habits, and sets reminders or notes accordingly. It includes a mute button for times when privacy is needed.

The companion app is available exclusively on iOS with a $19 monthly subscription, allowing users to interact with Bee and ask questions. Users can also receive summaries from their day and chronological transcripts of conversations.

In July 2025, Amazon acquired the startup behind Bee, unveiling new products sooner this month.

Amazon has launched two new devices: the Bee Frontier, priced at $74.99 for wearing on the wrist or clipping to clothes, and the Bee Eclipse at $99.99, a credit-card-sized gadget that attaches to a smartphone.

Each device retains the core functions of the previous model, establishing Bee as an economical alternative to AI gadgets like the Plaud Note and Plaud NotePin. Additionally, users can connect Bee to Alexa.

Friend

Friend is one of the most talked-about devices in the personal AI market.

This $129 pendant is designed to provide emotional support, recognizing your moods and responding as if it were a close companion. It syncs with your phone via Bluetooth, constantly listening and sending proactive messages, such as wishing you luck before important events.

However, it has faced negative reactions, particularly following a controversial subway ad campaign in New York City, leading to vandalism and protests against what some perceive as “surveillance capitalism.”

In an effort to remain relevant, the company has recently released a significant update called “Friend 2.0,” introducing a built-in speaker for more interactive communication.

Limitless

Previously known as Rewind, Limitless is another wearable device priced at $99 designed for recording conversations.

This gadget continuously listens and transcribes calls, meetings, and discussions (with consent), transforming them into searchable knowledge, which is especially useful for professionals like journalists.

The accompanying app provides 10 hours of AI features monthly, such as transcriptions and summaries, with an option for unlimited features unlocked at $29 per month.

Meta’s first AI wearable, unveiled in September, aims to provide users access to its personal assistant, Muse.

Though not yet available, the device is expected to feature Jolly, a friendly digital avatar representing the AI. Designed as a portable device that can attach to a keychain, it will include a small display for user interactions.

Founded by former Meta Reality Labs staff, Nirva is developing an AI wearable focused on personal growth.

Worn as a pendant or bracelet, it uses AI to convert daily experiences into a personal journal, assisting wearers in understanding their emotions and communication styles. The companion app analyzes behavioral patterns and offers insights for improvement.

Nirva plans to open orders in November, with early shipments expected by the end of the year, priced at $249.

Omi, priced at $89, offers a range of features including answering questions, summarizing conversations, creating to-do lists, and scheduling meetings. It continuously listens and processes conversations through ChatGPT, providing personalized advice.

Worn as a necklace, it can also be affixed to the side of the head using medical tape and detects when you are communicating with it.

At $159, Plaud’s NotePin offers built-in AI transcription and summarization, making it a valuable tool for professionals like lawyers, journalists, and students attending lectures.

This compact voice recorder can be worn on the wrist or attached to clothing, saving recordings directly to your phone in real time, eliminating the need for manual note-taking. It comprises 300 free transcription minutes monthly, with a $8.33 per month Pro plan that provides 1,200 minutes.

This year, the company plans to release a new ultra-thin note-taking device, the Plaud Note Pro, available for preorder starting at $179.

Rabbit R1

The Rabbit R1, priced at $199, is a stylish handheld gadget featuring a touchscreen and a rotating camera, quickly grabbing attention in the tech community despite initial launch issues.

This device acts in concert with your phone, enabling you to perform tasks like booking flights or ordering food without needing to retrieve your phone each time. Following a critical software update, it has expanded AI functionalities, now allowing users to create custom tools and games.

Sandbar

Emerging from stealth last year, Sandbar introduced the Stream ring, an AI wearable focused on note-taking.

This device features a built-in microphone that remains off by default, activated via a touch-sensitive panel. Users can press and hold the panel to record notes, engage with an AI assistant through a companion app, and control music playback.

The Stream ring is slated for a summer launch at a price of $299, available in silver and gold finishes.
