EliseAI Secures $350M in Funding from a16z, Achieving $4B Valuation Milestone

EliseAI, an artificial intelligence startup, revealed on Tuesday that it has successfully secured $350 million in funding, achieving a valuation of $4 billion—twice its worth during its Series E funding round last August.

This significant funding round was co-led by notable venture capital firms Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Ventures. Established in 2017, EliseAI specializes in automating administrative and operational tasks for companies in the housing and healthcare sectors. The startup claims its software is utilized by one out of every six apartments nationwide and recently shared that it surpassed $200 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR) this summer.

Earlier this month, EliseAI introduced an AI assistant named Apollo, designed to enhance productivity within its platform. Co-founder and CEO Minna Song explained to TechCrunch that “Apollo is integrated into the same platform that handles leasing, maintenance, and renewals,” allowing it to perform tasks across all roles within a property management team.

In the healthcare realm, EliseAI streamlines patient-related documentation for specialized physician groups, managing everything from initial calls to referrals, scheduling, insurance checks, chart preparation, and follow-ups, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. The company has chosen to focus on housing and healthcare due to their substantial impact as key expenses for American families.
