Sneak Peek: Pixel Buds Pro 2 Unveils Exciting New Color Option

Summary:

  • Recent leaks reveal marketing materials for a new colorway of the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
  • The new shade is reportedly named “Olive.”

Recently, Sony introduced a new color option for its WH-1000XM6 headphones, dubbed Olive Gray. This muted green hue harmonizes well with the existing collection. However, Sony won’t be the only brand unveiling new green options in audio gear. A leak indicates that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are set to receive a new color as well.

On Bluesky, a contributor named Roland Quandt shared several images that seem to be promotional material for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in this new color, which may be officially revealed during the upcoming Made by Google event. According to Quandt, this variant will be called “Olive.”

This new shade appears to be aligned with one of the new colors anticipated for the Pixel 11 lineup. Earlier leaks suggest that Google is planning two green hues: one for the standard model and another for the Pro version. The base Pixel 11 is expected to feature a color named “Moss,” while the Pro models may showcase a shade known as “Pine.”

The leaked images also mention features such as active noise cancellation (ANC), Silent Seal 2.0, and compatibility with Find Hub, among others. However, aside from the new color option, these earbuds appear to be identical to the existing Pixel Buds Pro 2. Once launched, Olive will join the existing color choices of Moonstone, Porcelain, Peony, and Hazel, making it the fifth addition.
