  • Apple has recently increased the prices of several products, including the MacBook Neo.
  • The base price of the MacBook Neo has risen from $599 to $699.
  • Refurbished versions of the MacBook Neo are now available starting at the original price of $599.

In a recent announcement, Apple has updated the prices of many of its products, with increments ranging from $20 to $300. Notably, the cost of the entry-level MacBook Neo saw a significant increase, rising from $599 to $699. Fortunately for potential buyers, there is now an opportunity to purchase this model at its previous price.

According to reports, Apple has added the MacBook Neo in all four available colors to its Certified Refurbished store at the original price of $599. While buying a refurbished model might not be as enticing as a new one at the same price, these refurbished devices are fully restored and come with all the original accessories.

Customers can purchase a refurbished entry-level MacBook Neo, which includes 256 GB of storage, for $599, reflecting a $100 savings compared to its new retail price. There is also an upgraded model that features a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and 512 GB of storage available for $679, which is $120 less than its current retail price of $799.

The recent price increases from Apple are part of a larger trend driven by the growing demand in the AI sector and supply chain challenges that have led manufacturers to raise costs for consumers. While many popular items, including iPhones and AirPods, have not seen price hikes, it is anticipated that the upcoming iPhone 18 models may arrive with higher starting prices compared to the iPhone 17 line-up.
