For the fourth consecutive year, Apple TV is increasing its subscription fees.
The monthly cost for Apple TV subscriptions will now be $14.99, rising from the previous rate of $12.99. Similarly, the annual fee will increase from $99 to $119.
Additionally, the Apple One bundle, which offers a collection of services such as iCloud+, TV, Music, and Arcade, will see its monthly price rise to $21.95 from $19.95.
Apple is not the only company implementing price hikes. Earlier this year, Netflix increased its subscription fees, and Peacock announced its own price rise recently. Various tech firms are also adjusting hardware prices due to persistent shortages in RAM and components, driven by high demand for AI data center infrastructure.
Although consumers may initially react negatively to Apple’s price increases, their discontent is likely to be short-lived, especially with the upcoming announcement of the latest iPhones, including a potential first foldable model, scheduled for September 9.
