Higgsfield Secures $400M in Series B Funding, Boosting Valuation to $5.4B in Just Eight Months

Higgsfield revealed on Monday that it has successfully secured $400 million in Series B funding, reaching a valuation of $5.4 billion. This latest investment comes just eight months after the company achieved a valuation of $1.3 billion.
Established by former Snap executive Alex Mashrabov in 2023, Higgsfield offers users the ability to generate AI-driven images and videos. This year, it gained attention for presenting AI-created films at major events in Cannes and New York. The company provides tools such as Cinema Studio for filmmakers wishing to direct AI-generated movies and Marketing Studio for teams focused on marketing and advertising. In their announcement regarding the funding, Higgsfield reported an impressive annual revenue of $700 million and a user base of 30 million across 200 nations.
A notable area of growth for Higgsfield has been the enterprise sector, where the company is now collaborating with 390 of the Fortune 500 companies. Mashrabov expressed to TechCrunch a belief that “the integration of video AI in enterprises will be increasingly woven into daily marketing and creative processes.”
The new funding will support essential business functions such as hiring and product advancements. Additionally, it will address the high computational demands associated with video production. Mashrabov noted that creating just one minute of video equates to processing around 60,000 words, making reliable computation capacity a critical necessity for maintaining competitiveness against industry peers like Synthesia and Runway.
DST Global spearheaded the recent funding round, joined by various investors including Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Valor Capital, and Tribe Capital.
