In Premiere, the AI assistant can help organize assets into bins, batch-rename clips, identify potential interview questions, and add markers. For Illustrator users, it can manage layers throughout a document and check for missing fonts.

Firefly is already compatible with Express, Photoshop, and Acrobat and is supported by AI technologies like ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot. Adobe has mentioned plans to extend support to Google Gemini and Slack in the near future.

Updates to Firefly

Adobe is gradually evolving Firefly to emulate certain features of Canva, especially regarding AI capabilities. The app now host tools capable of generating images, videos, and storyboards. A new feature called Elements is being introduced, allowing users to save AI-generated characters, objects, and settings for future projects.

Additionally, Firefly will include a Projects feature designed to consolidate existing assets and share contextual information. This is particularly advantageous for teams engaged in creating video series or marketing campaigns. Both features are currently available in a private beta.
