OnePlus has officially begun distributing the stable version of its Android 17-based Color OS 17 for the OnePlus 15, earlier than anticipated. Initially, the company slated the rollout to start on October 29, but announcements from OnePlus and feedback from users indicate that stable versions are now reaching retail devices after a brief testing period with the open beta program for the OnePlus 15. This unexpected early release is part of the broader schedule for Color OS 17, aligning with updates for both OnePlus and realme devices, marking the initial transition from Oxygen OS to Color OS branding.
As per information shared by the OnePlus Community and various reports on social media, the stable update is appearing on the OnePlus 15 (model number CPH2745). Users who were part of the open beta are the first to experience the transition from the preview version to the stable update.
