Initial report, July 27, 2026 (05:34 PM ET): If you have a T-Mobile, Verizon, or AT&T smartphone and are currently dependent on Wi-Fi, rest assured that you are not alone — numerous reports indicate a widespread service disruption affecting multiple carriers.

Users on Reddit’s T-Mobile forum began mentioning connection problems roughly an hour ago. Comments are surfacing from customers across various states, including California, New York, and Georgia, suggesting that a large portion of the US may be impacted.

Just days after the last significant outage, this ongoing situation is causing frustration for T-Mobile’s customers.

Google Fi users are also reporting connectivity issues, likely as a result of relying on T-Mobile’s network.

While most reports indicate T-Mobile as the primary affected carrier, DownDetector shows a rise in outage reports for both AT&T and Verizon as well.

User notifications indicate problems for AT&T in Nevada, though the extent of the outages across all three carriers is still unclear. The nature of these disruptions suggests that it may involve issues with a backbone provider or interconnect rather than being specific to a single carrier’s network.
