Selecting the right technology for a smart home can be quite challenging. Opt for cheaper options, and you may end up with devices that barely function or don’t integrate seamlessly with your existing setup. Conversely, overspending is also undesirable. This is where Walmart’s Onn brand shines, delivering value along with the necessary Google support. Recently, Google has officially announced a couple of new Onn cameras that integrate well with smart home ecosystems.
The Onn Outdoor Camera Plug-In is a straightforward 1080p HDR camera with an IP65 rating, allowing it to withstand the elements. It supports two-way audio, making it easy to communicate with visitors, and offers color night vision capabilities.
If you prefer a more illuminating option, the Onn Outdoor Floodlight Camera Hardwired is ideal. This camera also offers 1080p HDR video and IP65 protection against water and dust, plus two-way audio. The standout feature is its impressive 2,500 lumen floodlight, which ensures visibility even in the darkest conditions.
Both models are fully compatible with Google Home Premium subscriptions, providing Gemini-powered insights into their activities, so users won’t need to manually monitor every motion alert.
