Your Ultimate Guide to Streaming Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked Event This July 2026

Anticipation mounts for the company’s latest foldable devices and smartwatches.

Samsung is set to hold its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on July 22. Having already unveiled the Galaxy S26 series this year, the focus of this event is expected to shift toward new foldable smartphones and wearable technology. The presentation will take place live in London, allowing viewers to join from home at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT via Samsung’s official website, their YouTube channel, or through a livestream that will be shared closer to the event date.

Leaked information and rumors suggest significant alterations to Samsung’s foldable offerings, particularly with the addition of a new aspect ratio. The Galaxy Z Fold 7, with its sleek design resembling a traditional smartphone when closed, is rumored to be followed by the Galaxy Z Fold 8. This upcoming model may feature a more ‘passport-like’ shape that enhances the viewing experience for videos in an open position. Its design is said to be reminiscent of a similar foldable device from Apple and will likely be available alongside the Galaxy Flip 8 and an upgraded “Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra,” which is expected to retain the aspect ratio of the current Z Fold 7. In addition to new colors and prices influenced by market dynamics, all three models are predicted to come equipped with enhanced Snapdragon processors. The Ultra variant may also offer faster wireless charging capabilities and a less pronounced crease.

At the Unpacked event, Samsung is also anticipated to reveal the Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. While the aesthetic may not differ much from last year’s versions, both smartwatches are poised to incorporate Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear Elite chipset. Furthermore, the Ultra 2 is rumored to house a more robust 800mAh battery. Samsung is reportedly collaborating with companies like Google, Warby Parker, and Gentle Monster on smart glasses, which Google previously showcased at I/O 2026. Although these smart glasses are not expected to launch until the fall, additional information about these collaborations could be revealed during the event.
