Samsung is gearing up for the launch of its new range of foldable smartphones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, on July 22. Alongside this flagship device, the company will also unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the latest Galaxy Watch series. Recent leaks have provided an enticing glimpse of the Z Fold 8 Ultra’s innovative display, highlighting its crease-free design.
A video shared by the leaker Momentary Digital on Weibo showcases the Z Fold 8 Ultra in action, demonstrating its remarkably seamless display. In the footage, the device is presented from multiple angles, revealing no visible crease, enhancing its appeal considerably.
The hands-on video even displays a video playing on the device, making it surprisingly hard to detect any crease. This suggests that Samsung has made significant advancements in eliminating creases from their foldable displays.
However, it remains unclear how frequently the phone shown in the video has been folded and unfolded. As is common with foldable screens, creases can develop over time with regular use. Nonetheless, this leak generates optimism about achieving a truly crease-free user experience with Samsung’s premier foldable model.
The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra is anticipated to feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, a 5,000mAh battery, and an impressive camera setup comprising a 200MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, leaked pricing information suggests that the Z Fold 8 Ultra may retail for $2,099, reflecting a $100 increase compared to its predecessor.
