Following a series of visual improvements made to the Terminal in the Android Canary earlier this year, the latest beta update for Android 17 offers a more contemporary interface. The menu items on the home screen now feature better spacing, eliminating previous separators. Although the new design does not yet fully embody the Material 3 Expressive approach, it is noticeably more aligned with this aesthetic than its predecessors.
