Apple Set to Unveil New iPad Pro and MacBook Pro Models in Early 2024

Apple is reportedly planning to unveil new iPad Pro models as well as a refreshed MacBook Pro within the first half of next year.

According to sources, the tech giant is developing four versions of the new tablets equipped with upgraded processors. Additionally, there is a new MacBook Pro in the works, referred to internally as K104. This model is expected to debut alongside Apple’s first M7 chip.

The last update to the iPad Pro line occurred in October of the previous year. Earlier this year, Apple also released a new high-performance MacBook Pro along with a more affordable option, the MacBook Neo, which features an A18 chip designed for use in iPhones. The upcoming MacBook Pro is anticipated to be a fully-fledged professional model.

These developments come at a time when Apple is rumored to be exploring additional product launches, possibly including a foldable smartphone. This comes as the company prepares for a future beyond Tim Cook’s leadership and addresses ongoing supply chain challenges that have led to price increases. For example, the cost of the MacBook Pro with 1 terabyte of storage recently rose from $1,699 to $1,999. If Apple aims to introduce more budget-friendly laptops and tablets, now would be an ideal moment.

Apple has not yet responded to inquiries for further comment.
