This update is part of the evolution of AT&T’s Build-A-Plan, which debuted in May as a flexible phone service starting at $15 per month. While the initial offering let users modify cellular data and hotspot limits monthly, this new approach reflects AT&T’s aim for complete service integration for those who wish to manage their mobile and home internet in one package.
According to AT&T’s announcement, the combined pricing for this new Build-A-Plan will start at $70 per month, including a $15 basic wireless tier, unlimited standard-definition mobile data for $20, and either AT&T Internet Air or AT&T Fiber 300 for $35 (with an eligible wireless plan and AutoPay). For customers in areas lacking fiber-optic connections, AT&T’s 5G-powered Internet Air presents a dynamic alternative.
While the integration provides added convenience, there are some restrictions. The Build-A-Plan service limits accounts to one line and defaults video streaming to 480p unless customers select a premium data tier.
