If you’re looking for an alternative to paying for your WHOOP subscription, Robinhood has a solution. They recently announced that holders of their Platinum Visa credit card will receive a complementary WHOOP Peak subscription annually. The $239 yearly fee won’t automatically be included with the card but will be reimbursed as a statement credit if the subscription is purchased through the Robinhood card. This cost also covers the necessary hardware, meaning you pay nothing upfront.
As per Robinhood’s updated terms, the subscription activation must occur on WHOOP’s official site; using third-party merchants or gift cards will disqualify you. It may take up to eight weeks for the credit to show on your statement, so you might need to pay for the first month yourself.
It’s essential to activate the offer within Robinhood’s app before making a purchase on WHOOP. Also, the Platinum card comes with a $695 annual fee. However, it includes various credits, such as $500 for travel expenses and an additional $500 for dining services (with monthly limits). Users can earn up to 5% cashback on travel bookings and enjoy wellness benefits, including free memberships to certain health services and credits for sleep-related products.
There’s uncertainty regarding whether this offer is exclusive to new subscribers or if it includes current users as well. Existing members would need to shift their billing to the Robinhood card to benefit. The offer is valid for all purchases made until the end of 2027, covering your WHOOP membership costs for the next two years if paid upfront, but future availability is not assured.
